Been There, Done That

We feel very lucky to have been there and to have done that. Thank you, dear friends (Jesse, Sara, Emily) for your recommendation to go there and do that. Thanks to you, we've been able to go off the beaten path and discover beautiful things. We are in Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand now and are staying for 4 nights at a homestay that our friends recommended. The place used to be called Been There, Done That but it's been recently re-branded as O-boon. The owners are a cute and very artsy Thai couple and the majority of the customers seem to be Thai people. The homestay is located a bit outside of Chiang Mai and I believe foreigners (falangs, as they are called in the Thai language) don't know about this place. You can't find it on the Internet, they don't have a website and it was hard for us to get a hold of them and make a reservation. Since you can't find directions anywhere, the couple came to pick us up from the train station, which was really nice of them. We then got a tour of the entire place and got to pick whatever room we wanted. Here are some photos I took of the place. I know some of my friends would appreciate the style in which this place is decorated. Enjoy!
